Bone Black

Save bones from your daily meals. Wash them thoroughly.

And boil them in hot water to remove the fat. Then dry them thoroughly.

Wrap the bones in aluminum foil and set in a Dutch oven.

Furthermore, wrap the edge of the lid with aluminum foil to prevent air from entering and exiting.

Burn for several hours to make sure it charcoal.

This method may not be possible in residential areas because it smells like burning bones and firewood emits smoke.

Don’t rush to take it out after it’s finished baking. Carbonized bones are still burning hot, so when they come in contact with air, the surface turns to ash.

Wash the pigment with water. Fill a large cup with water and add the pigment to it and stir well.

Leave it overnight and the pigment will settle. You will probably see cloudy water.

Discard the water and filter and dry the pigment.
